Meet Your Photographer
If I can help you decorate your walls I am at your service! Marysville Boutique Photographer.
Hello and Welcome! Serving Marysville, WA and surrounding area. Marysville Boutique Photographer
I am a different kind of photographer; I am a boutique photographer specializing in children and families, creating photographic artwork to decorate your home with and intended to be passed from generation to generation.
I hold your hand through a full-service boutique experience, from a personalized consultation where we discuss clothing, styling, and art placement on the walls of your home, to an ordering presentation where we help you select the best images specifically for you. I choose not to be the photographer who hands my clients a few digital files and sends them home to figure out what to do with them.
I specialize in creating (framed or canvas) heirloom quality photographic artwork! This artwork is designed to be hung in your home, to be enjoyed, and appreciated, to build self-esteem, to represent your family bond, and over time become a treasured heirloom.
With custom wall portraits, you could decorate your home with artwork that means something to you and your family. I am passionate about how wall portraits make a house a home/bond the family/lift kids or teens self-esteem etc. Therefore, I have made it my mission to ensure your portraits do not just stay on a computer or phone but get hung on your walls to enjoy every day. That is what I want for YOU and your family!
One day, as a child, I had a sleepover at my favorite aunt’s home where I saw, for the first time, photos of her family displayed on the walls. We did not have family photos on our walls as a child, neither were there any photos of me. Because of this, I am disconnected from that time of my life and get sad when I see other family members posting old photos of themselves or their family saying, “Look how dorky I looked like as a kid!” Oh, how I wish I could say that. My self-esteem and sense of belonging have been impacted, and it makes me sad.
When I became a mother, I made sure that this was not the case for my children because of the negative mental impact, and the sense of belonging from being non-existent has made me feel even to this day. I believe that by displaying portraits in the home, a child can internalize the sense of belonging and see that those in the family portrait are important to each other. They are a form of artwork that can be a window into their past.
That is why I feel so strongly about creating beautiful artwork that will be handed down for generations. Your child/ren can leap seventy years back into their childhood and revisit the days of thousands of snuggles and kisses they received when their parents were still on this earth with them.
